ENASYS Asset Tracking Solution


Overview

EnaSys has created Inventory and Asset Tracking RFID application products that can be purchased off-the-shelf. They can also be easily configured and integrated into an accounts existing processes and topology.

Inventory Features:

Rapid inventory utilizing RFID Handheld, fixed readers
Inventory capture in Batch Mode
Selective creation of batch lists for each handheld device
Screen Presentation depicting assets assigned to specific shelves or racks
Feedback capability to allow the operator to see items captured, items not captured and items that are misplaced (wrong rack or shelf)
Locate/find capability to place unfound items/assets in a queue on the handheld and allow the operator to search for those specific items elsewhere
Runs on most major manufacturer's handheld and fixed readers

AssetTrak is an EnaSys application package which uses RFID portals or control points to capture and report asset movement within a facility. In addition, the technology allows the data center personnel to create "move lists" to insure the monitoring of data tapes as they relocate between facilities or vaults.

AssetTrak Features:

Secure Notification- Notifying, according to programmed business rules, a security person or proper administrative personnel if a protected asset is being removed from its assigned area.
Movement Identification- Reporting on the movement of all assets within a facility utilizing electronically controlled "move lists" and the monitoring of assets through RFID controlled points.
Chain of Custody- Recording the chain of custody and movement of individual assets.
Asset Protection from Unauthorized Removal- Insuring protected assets (assets which are restricted to particular buildings, rooms, vaults or areas) are not removed from their assigned location.
