HotLok® Blanking Panels for Server Rack Airflow Management

Improve server-rack airflow and cooling effectiveness with HotLok® Blanking Panels from Upsite Technologies. These purpose-built rack filler panels seal unused equipment openings, helping prevent hot exhaust air from recirculating to the front of the cabinet and reducing the loss of conditioned air through open rack spaces.

HotLok Blanking Panels are designed for fast, tool-free installation in standard EIA-310-E equipment openings. Their cantilevered sealing vanes close gaps between adjoining panels and installed equipment, providing a seal that the manufacturer reports is 29% better than the nearest competitive panel.

By separating conditioned supply air from equipment exhaust air, HotLok panels help reduce bypass airflow and rack hot spots. They can also support more consistent equipment inlet temperatures and allow data center operators to make better use of existing cooling capacity.
