The Geist Cool containment system centers on two critical components:

Containing heat by using Geist’s manufactured chimneys and enclosures

Expelling heat directly to the CRAC units using sophisticated pressure sensors to control fan speed and exhaust hot air at an efficient rate.

By focusing on these two steps you can maintain an ideal temperature for your data center equipment. The combination of hot air containment and intelligent controlled fan speed creates a consistent climate controlled environment in the data center and within the cabinet rows.

Geist Cool is available for nearly all new and existing cabinet models. Geist developed a vast library of cabinet specific installation kits that include: cabinet tops, door blocking kits, and mounting hardware. If there is a new cabinet or row configuration, Geist's team of design engineers will deliver a solution

Rack Based System
Geist's single rack intelligent containment configuration is ideal for high density cabinets. The single chimney system and sensors work exclusively to exhaust heat contained in the single rack. Racks installed with the system will maximize data center space while cooling critical equipment.

Row Based System
The row based system allows multiple racks to share a single chimney in lower density environments. As row densities increase, additional chimneys and sensors can be added to maintain the appropriate temperature throughout the row of cabinets.
