There are essentially three categories of protection solutions to power problems- 1)>One-on-One 2)>Clustered 3)>Facility-wide Each type is appropriate for some network configurations and wrong for others. Large networks may need a combination of solutions, depending on factors such as load size, criticality of applications, proximity of equipment being protected, and the nature of the power disturbances.
