The tracking feature is embedded in a standard tape cartridge allowing you to handle and ship it like any other tape. To activate, charge the Tape Tracker cartridge and slip it into any tape carrying case. The Tape Tracker cartridge will report its location over the cellular network. With the ability to last up to 30 days on a single charge, Tape Tracker will continue reporting throughout the longest journey between data centers, offices, DR sites and vaults.
