Overview
Our premium enclosure system offers the industry’s broadest range of compatibility and specificity of modular internal components, thermal management systems, smart controls, cable management solutions, and high-capacity PDU/CDU integration to meet and exceed the demands of mission-critical data centers.
This cabinet system is known as Platinum 2.0, or simply, P2, and is being formally introduced in 2012 with a new series of enclosure typicals, or configurations, designed with the benefit of ease-of-ordering and the engineering value of our new P2 cabinet frame structure. Our new welded cabinet frame is designed to accommodate conventional servers, hi-density computing applications such as blade technology, and to be compliant with the specialty storage and mounting of industry-specific switch hardware.
The P2 frame is constructed to accept our thermal management systems, whether you select a passive liquid-cooling system or rack-level air containment upgrade. P2 is our recommended cabinet platform for mid-range and enterprise-level data centers for new design and construction. Certain P2 models can also be easily added and are compatible with first-generation Platinum cabinets.
