Overview
Liebert Foundation EX can be retrofit to existing Liebert Foundation enclosures, or can be factory installed on new Liebert Foundation systems.

Flexibility:

The Foundation EX Expansion System is a flexible solution to rack-enclosure space and cable problems
utilizing a patent pending "Expansion Channel" platform to provide adaptive space for airflow,
equipment and cabling support. Cable and equipment mounting options are available to adapt to
changing requirements.

EX Expansion Channels include a set (left / right) of sheet metal channels mounted to the front and /
or rear of an HK or RK (non-sealed) mounting frame. Available in nominal depths of 2", 4", or 6" (1U,
2U or 3U horizontal space), the EX Expansion Channel allows for creation of multiple frame depths.
Specialized cutouts are provided to support all EX cable and equipment management options.
EX Expansion Channel top/bottom entrances are available with 2 sets (top / bottom) of EX Cable
Management Channels (EX-CMCs) providing cable management into and out of the EX Expansion
Channels. The EX-CMCs are sized to fit the associated EX Expansion

Warranty Info

STANDARD WARRANTY
The Foundation frame / enclosure is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years parts, from date of shipment. Optional Foundation EX Expansion Systems, UPStation GXT2U, PowerSure PSI UPS, SiteNet Integrator and/or Load Control Module are warranted against defects for two (2) years parts, from date of shipment. Optional ECM and/or BCM are warranted against defects for two (2) years parts, 90 days labor, from date of shipment. WARRANTY OPTIONS
Optional extended parts warranty is available at the time of purchase for the ECM and/or BCM via optional Foundation ECM and/or BCM Extended Warranties. The Extended Warranty option shall extend the standard ECM and/or BCM warranty by either 1 or 3 years, for a total warranty period of either 3 or 5 years. Refer to separate warranty statements for details.

Optional Liebert UPStation GXT23, PowerSure PSI UPS, or Liebert SiteNet Integrator and/or Load Control Module is offered at the time of purchase with separate extended warranty options of 1 or 3 years. Refer to separate warranty statements for details.
