Humanscale M4 Flat Panel Monitor Arm

The adjustable arm allows users to easily customize the height, angle, depth and viewing position of their flat panel monitor for maximum benefit.


Overview

The unique design of the M4 allows for remarkable stability and minimal bounce - in fact, far less bounce than every other parallelogram arm on the market. To accommodate virtually any monitor, the M4 has a counterbalance adjustment to perfectly balance any monitors weighing between 5 and 20 lbs.

The M4 allows users to customize the position of the monitor for perfect fit and comfort to minimize the risk of back, neck or shoulder injury during long-term computer use. Adjustments to the positioning can be made from a seated position and without the use of cumbersome adjustment knobs, screws and levers. Its true finger-tip adjustability makes repositioning simple and intuitive.

The M4 is appropriate for an extremely wide range of working environments, from office workstations and trading desks to airport check-in terminals and command centers. Multiple mounting options are available, including clamp and grommet mount for desktop installation, or fixed and adjustable wall mount for slat wall applications. Because it frees up space below the monitor and thereby reduces desk clutter, the M4 will truly enhance the look of any workspace.

The aesthetics of the M4 were born out of its function. It was designed with a sleek and sculptural appearance that literally flows from its underlying function. The M4 was designed by Manuel Saez and Gordon Bruce. Saez, Design Director of Humanscale, is also the designer of the M7 Flat Panel Monitor Arm, winner of multiple design recognitions, including the prestigious Best of NeoCon Award.

Because all of the die-cast aluminum used in the M4 is 100% recycled and 100% recyclable, over 80% of the M4 by weight is made of recycled material and 95% is recyclable. The M4 is designed to long outlast the user's current flat panel monitor and can easily accommodate new monitor sizes. It is made from die-cast aluminum and steel for long-lasting strength and performance. It comes with a 10-year warranty on the gas cylinder and a lifetime warranty on all other parts.
